Sip Cigarette After Waking Sleep, Causes Oral Cancer


For addicts, smoking is indeed difficult to remove. Though there is a lot of risk that can be harmful to your health than cigarette consumption. One is the increased risk of developing various types of cancer.

Research conducted by Penn State found that people who have the habit of smoking in the morning when they wake up, have a greater risk for developing lung cancer and oral cancer, as reported by everydayhealth.

The researchers found that approximately 32 percent of the participants smoked their first cigarette within five minutes of waking up. Smoke as much as 31 percent within 6-30 minutes after the wake, 18 percent within 31-60 minutes, and 19 percent smoked for more than an hour after waking up.

People who smoke soon after they wake up had higher levels of NNAL (substances of tobacco that causes cancer) is higher. This triggers the risk of developing cancer is greater than smokers who do not smoke when they wake up in the morning.

As a result, the time to first cigarette consumption when they wake up may be an important factor in the identification of high-risk smokers and the risk of developing the disease
