Alert, threat Cancer Beginning of Air Pollution

Recent research reported in the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) 2013 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, showing a possible link between exposure to traffic-related air pollution and lead to cancer in some children.

Exposure to air pollution during pregnancy is associated with an increased risk of some cancers such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia (cancer of the white blood cells) and two other childhood cancers.

Previous studies showed some cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and brain tumors, are caused by exposure to air pollution.
