Prevent Ear Disorders, Volume Lower Your Music
Who does not like listening to music while relaxing? Listening to music with different instruments very pleasant indeed. However, in some cases, listening to music can cause damage to your ears in particular are often using a headset.
Listening to music through the headset with loud volume, can cause you to lose hearing. A study conducted by the University of Leicester in the UK, found that listening to music using the headset for a long time can damage the surface of nerve cells in the ear canal, as reported by everydayhealth.
The researchers studied people who usually listen to their personal music player with large volumes, and found that on average, we listen to a song with the noise level around 95-110 decibels. The noise level is causing hearing problems such as temporary deafness and tinnitus, a condition where you hear ringing or whistling sound in the ears.
So what should you do to protect your ears while listening to music? If you do not want to turn down the volume, at least reduce your time listening to music with loud volume. But it is best if you turn down the volume, then the damage will not be permanent.
