Food buffet in the restaurant is a boon for the hungry, but a nightmare for dieters or those who try to keep the weight to be healthy. If you're on a diet, follow these steps exactly.

Nutritionists Brian Wansink provide guidance to you is a diet program. First, before eating food, walk around the entire buffet to look at your options. Second, put your food on a small plate, not great.

Mitsuru Shimizu Wansink and colleagues conducted a study of 300 men and women who ate the buffet at the Chinese restaurant. Wansink is known as a professor of consumer behavior at Cornell University involving 30 researchers.

The researchers secretly record their six specific activities, including how visitors quickly self-serving, plate size selection, location table, how they deal with the buffet, tableware used, and where they put the napkin.

When the research took place, they were seen carrying a small plate on the way to the buffet table. The activity was in fact able to shorten the time, so the impact on the number of servings they ate less. So that was reported by the Harvard Health Publications.

"Consistent with the idea that small changes may reduce a person's tendency to overeat, discussion chatter about how self-serving, and using a smaller plate, can reduce overeating at the buffet," they write in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, April 2013.

In previous studies, the Cornell team suggests that visitors buffet with a body mass index (a measure of weight) is high tend to eat food directly before I look, use a large plate, sit facing the buffet, and using a fork instead of chopsticks.
